Welcome to my monthly e letter!  The "e" stands for energy.  My
intention is to infuse you with new energy, and nourish you with
quotes, book recommendations, fresh insights, and places I am
floundering.  I wanted to connect more often than once a year
when I write a new book, or briefly in person on a book tour.

In fact, I felt so inspired by your responses that we are starting a
guest book in May, where you will be able to leave your writings
for me and others to read.

My vision is to have this turn into a forum, a place to converse, a
salon where we can EXTRAVAGANTLY LOUNGE together (if

I loved having this dialogue with you!  I received so many
scrumptious, thought-full responses to my e letters (go to

GORGEOUS MOMENTS

I used to avidly pluck all the marshmallow bits from the Lucky
Charms cereal and eat them with glee.  I can still recall the sweet
crowd of shapes floating in the milk.  I think we can still pluck out
those succulent bits and drench ourselves with gorgeous
moments (gorgeous moments don't always feel comfortable or
easy, by the way).

I am just completing my book tour with my newest book,
Prosperity Pie.   A huge thank you to all who attended, physically
or telepathically.  I have experienced so many gorgeous
moments (of all descriptions).  Here are just a few:

On the tour, I've been flying paper airplanes with messages
written on them into the audience.  Whoever "catches" the
airplane reads the message out loud.  On this night, the airplane
landed in a woman's lap, and she said, "Oh shit!  I knew it would
be me.  I haven't showered, I've never read a SARK book, and
my underwear is crawling up my butt!"

In my suite, on the 42nd floor of the Four Seasons Hotel, I walked
naked from the bedroom to the living room, to find a man
hanging outside the window, staring at me!  A dedicated and
misinformed window washer.

At the Changing Hands bookstore in Tempe, Arizona, I held up
my cell phone for the hundreds of people in the audience to sing
"You Are My Sunshine" to my Mom, Marvelous Marjorie, who is
in pain in a nursing home.  She declared, "That was the most
fabulous thing - and they sing so well."

In fact, I have a special favor to ask.  My Mom has been in
hospitals and nursing homes for months, after 2 major surgeries
and delusions from medication.  The delusions have cleared up,
and she would love to receive any cards or letters, which she
would then share with the other residents.  May is her Birthday
Month too.  She would love any quotes, jokes, prayers,
photographs or pictures of female angels.  Brief and short is
more than enough!  Please know that you don't need to send
anything at all - just thinking about it sends energy!  If you do

THINGS TO TRY FOR AWAKENING GORGEOUS MOMENTS

Stay awake and look past your trance.  Often we are sleep
walking through our routine, and don't notice the gorgeous bits. 
Practice looking closely and slowly for gorgeous opportunities.

Speak Up!
Gorgeous moments love Attention, and other people love to
know about them.  Share what you see/experience with others.

Keep the Gleam in Your Eye
Curiosity is the best magnet for moments of gorgeousness. 
These moments will put a permanent twinkle in your eye.

Look Past the Dump
There is always clutter, entropy, ugliness, despair and danger. 
Experience any of these as need be, then look past them.  We
all have this choice and free will.  We can embrace the pain and
magnify the beauty.
