Dear Soul-full Friend,

We all resist, and procrastinate, and forget to show our love, and crawl through caverns of despair.

Some of us feel so alone.

Others feel smothered and bothered and filled past the brim of overwhelm.

But, we are known by our souls.

Our souls have dimension and light and solidity far more interesting than our faults or our failures.

Most of us become convinced that we’re the ONLY ONES who _________, or ___________, or __________.

We’re all just practicing here, fumbling around in our fragile humanity.

Because we are known by our souls, others can see us clearly even when we falter, forget, or say something mean or thoughtless.

We all hold each others’ souls in our hearts’ centers, and if you temporarily lose sight of your soul, or can’t locate it, someone can help you see it.

We are known by our souls, and because of this, we each have a depth and buoyancy that is truly timeless, ageless, and impervious to insult.

We are known by our souls, and I see yours.

Thank you to all who wrote on the Glorious Guestbook about what they’re currently resisting.

I received so much soul light from your words, and you each speak for so many.

I’m so glad to share some of the soul food I received at Artella’s “Wild Child Wisdom” weekend.

So many souls, overflowing with creative gifts and pure spirit to share. I received so many gifts of the spirit that I didn’t even need a flight back to San Francisco. I levitated to get home. I heartily celebrate this community of Artella and fully encourage you to explore the wonder that is her.

I also had a fabulous time at R.J. Julia, one of my favorite bookstores, located in Madison, CT. The soaking rain and turning leaves were a marvelous addition to the feisty souls who gathered that night, filling every seat. Smiles and laughter there raised the bookstore roof.

Then who did I sit next to on the flight home? A soul-full woman named Grace who told me I was very fey and filled with soul nourishment.

I offer my soul light to yours and will be so glad to meet you in my travels. Perhaps we’ll gather at my traveling Pajama Party series, which starts on February 10 2006 in Arizona.

I’d like to ask for your questions. I’m working on the December/January eLetter and would like to be “interviewed” by my community of creative souls and kindred spirits.
